Artificial Intelligence - Application in life sciences and beyond
  • The international Upper-Rhine Artificial Intelligence Symposium organised by the TriRhenaTech alliance in cooperation with Hochschule Kaiserslautern supposed to be held on Wednesday, 27th October, 2020 in Kaiserslautern, Germany focuses on AI research and its application in industry, medicine and mobility. The conference motto in 2021 is "Artificial Intelligence: application in life sciences and beyond".

    Although the symposium focus will be on life science applications, we encourage also submit additional topics, such as image processing, robotics, machine learning or social impact.

    In the morning, following items are scheduled: two keynote speeches from political representatives, two keynote speeches from university and industry representatives, and a panel discussion on 'Artificial Intelligence - application in life sciences and beyond'. Papers on AI applications in industry, medicine and mobility as well as a lecture on quantum computing outlining future developments of artificial intelligence will take place in the afternoon.

    The conference language is for the most part English, with some parts being held in French and German.

    The conference will be accompanied by a posters and an exhibition detailing various AI projects from France, Germany, Switzerland, and other countries which aim to encourage an exchange of perspectives. We cordially invite you to discover the expertise and opportunities of artificial intelligence and discuss its possibilities and potential risks.

    The symposium is free of charge. Due to limited number of participants registration is required. Requests will be served on a first-come first-served basis.
